In Saxony-Anhalt a great deal of the most interesting design work sits behind a works gate. No client sees it from the road. Which is exactly why it is worth the effort of showing it.

When the site lies behind the works gate
Leuna, Bitterfeld and the other chemical and industrial sites absorb specialist engineering on a scale the state does not show from outside: plant and industrial construction, media supply, permit design under conditions. For engineering practices that is demanding work with very limited public visibility.
The second strand is the opposite: the Bauhaus heritage in Dessau and a considerable backlog of refurbishment. Both attract architects who know how to build within listed fabric. Here too, the actual achievement disappears into the finished result.
What we produce for practices here
Concept, shoot, edit, grade and sound all happen in house. One point of contact, no chain.
Practice portrait
Shows how you work even where the projects themselves may not be shown.
Construction documentation
From shell to commissioning. It records what disappears behind cladding, insulation and plant components.
Explanation
A short explanation of the technical particulars. It answers the questions before they are asked in the meeting.
Photography
From the same shooting day. For website, tender documents and press, without a second date.

Let’s get goingHow to judge the way we work
Our existing references in construction and technology are in Hesse. We have none in Saxony-Anhalt and will not pretend otherwise. They are still instructive: design work, building services and contractors with industrial clients.

What sets us apart
Cinema quality. Costed with a clear head.
Film industry standard meets a lean, vertically integrated production setup. That is what makes quality affordable. What others outsource at a premium has long been part of our team. It saves time, it saves money, and you can see it in the result.
Stories that stick.
Cinematic DNA in short formats. We condense messages down to what matters. Precise, emotionally charged and built on real narrative craft. Advertising that isn’t just watched, but felt.
From Gen Z. For every audience.
We speak today’s visual language – fluently and by conviction. From elaborate corporate films through lean video productions to high-energy content for social media, we know exactly what earns attention. Made by a young team that grew up with the “cloud”. Effective for every audience, every format, every platform.
QUALITY and SERVICE are written in capitals here.
No project is finished until both we and our clients are happy with it. That is why you will find no small print limiting the number of revisions. We are convinced that clear, transparent communication, a structured briefing and the shared ambition to create something lasting and convincing make clauses like that unnecessary.
Services at a glance
Our focus is outstanding audio-visual film, video and photo production for the construction, architecture and building services (MEP) sector. But we think beyond the camera. Through our established network of experts and partners we open up additional touchpoints for your company: from corporate websites and digital project presentations through trade fair appearances and print to targeted LinkedIn marketing for the construction industry. Together we work out which channels and formats reach your clients, investors and future specialists most effectively – and we bring the right specialists to the table to deliver the project to our quality standard.
Lead time, travel, shooting day
The decisive part of a production inside an industrial park happens weeks before the shooting day: works passes, safety briefings, proof of insurance and qualification, plus the separate approval for photography and filming. That chain cannot be shortened.
From Hanau it is a good three and a half hours to Halle and about four to Magdeburg. We arrive the day before, complete the briefing early in the morning and start straight after. On site we move only when accompanied and only in released areas.
Frequently asked questions
Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQs or simply get in touch with us directly. Whenever you are ready, we look forward to hearing from you – and we will get back to you within 24 hours! Because SERVICE is written in capitals here.
Let’s get goingOur installation site is in an ATEX zone. May your camera be operated there?
Not without checking. In explosive atmospheres the operator decides which equipment is approved. Where our kit is not, we film from outside the zone, on a long lens, or in prefabrication. We settle that before fixing dates.
How much lead time do you need for works access?
Reckon on three to four weeks, with some operators more. We supply the crew details as early as possible and work to your contact inside the plant, not the other way round.
The operator does not want plant details published. How do you handle that?
With an approval list before the shoot and a review afterwards. Often it is enough to choose angles and focal lengths so that process details never enter the frame. What may not be shown, we do not film.
What does a production like this cost?
The large majority of our projects sit in the mid four-figure to low five-figure range. Travel and accommodation stand beside that as separate items. We give you the range in the first conversation.

Managing Director and Director
Cinema has fascinated us since childhood – not just as a medium, but as a total work of art. The interplay of every craft involved, the precision in the detail, the passion behind every frame: those are exactly the values we took as the foundation of Mastlicht Media, and we keep building on them every day. Seeing how this medium, combined with our craft, creates lasting value for our clients is what excites me anew every single day.
