Distances, light and scheduling
Hanau to Potsdam is about five hours, to Lusatia and the north correspondingly more. We always travel the day before and set the schedule by geography rather than importance: the furthest location first, then work back. That is the difference between three locations covered and two.
The second point is daylight. On an open site in midwinter there are only a few usable hours, and fog costs the whole morning. If your schedule allows, we place shooting days outside the darkest weeks. If not, we plan fewer subjects per day.

Let’s get goingOur projects are far apart. Can you manage two in one day?
If they are at most an hour apart, yes. Beyond that the second location becomes an afterthought. Then we would rather film two consecutive days. It costs barely more and delivers considerably more.
Are drone flights allowed around Berlin and in open country?
In open country usually yes, with the landowner’s consent and distance from housing. Around Berlin there are control zones where flights need approval. We check that before fixing dates.
We only design the site infrastructure; others build later. Is that enough for a film?
Yes, and it is rewarding. Site infrastructure is the part nobody sees afterwards, and it explains your work better than any finished building. We combine the works with drawings and your own team’s words.
What does a production in Brandenburg cost?
The large majority of our projects sit in the mid four-figure to low five-figure range. Travel and accommodation are shown separately. With several dates a year it almost always pays to bundle them.
