Behind the scenes of a Mastlicht Media film production

A shaky smartphone video, poor lighting or a clip cut together without a point sends a very clear message. Unfortunately, the wrong one. Because the way your company looks at first contact is exactly how good people assume it is. Cutting corners or improvising here doesn’t just cost you a first impression — it damages trust in your brand before a single conversation has taken place.

Our cases

What we stand for

  • Honest and transparent communication
  • Creative media campaigns from a single source
  • A precise balance between creativity, real-world use and realistic economics

What sets us apart

Cinema quality. Costed with a clear head.

Film industry standard meets a lean, vertically integrated production setup. That is what makes quality affordable. What others outsource at a premium has long been part of our team. It saves time, it saves money, and you can see it in the result.

Stories that stick.

Cinematic DNA in short formats. We condense messages down to what matters. Precise, emotionally charged and built on real narrative craft. Advertising that isn’t just watched, but felt.

From Gen Z. For every audience.

We speak today’s visual language – fluently and by conviction. From elaborate corporate films through lean video productions to high-energy content for social media, we know exactly what earns attention. Made by a young team that grew up with the “cloud”. Effective for every audience, every format, every platform.

QUALITY and SERVICE are written in capitals here.

No project is finished until both we and our clients are happy with it. That is why you will find no small print limiting the number of revisions. We are convinced that clear, transparent communication, a structured briefing and the shared ambition to create something lasting and convincing make clauses like that unnecessary.

Services at a glance

Our focus is outstanding audio-visual film, video and photo production for the construction, architecture and building services (MEP) sector. But we think beyond the camera. Through our established network of experts and partners we open up additional touchpoints for your company: from corporate websites and digital project presentations through trade fair appearances and print to targeted LinkedIn marketing for the construction industry. Together we work out which channels and formats reach your clients, investors and future specialists most effectively – and we bring the right specialists to the table to deliver the project to our quality standard.

What does a production at Mastlicht Media cost?

The price always depends on the scope of your project: on the kind of film, the creative concept and the craft that goes into it. Whether it is a corporate film for your construction company, a recruiting video to attract skilled staff or a construction project documentary with drone footage – every production is as individual as your company. Project packages start at an average of €1,500, although, as always, exceptions prove the rule.

If you would like a comparison from your own industry: just as you explain to your clients why a solid foundation and high-grade materials work out cheaper in the long run than the budget alternative – the same is true of professional video production. We operate in the mid to premium segment, because quality that actually works is worth something.

An initial consultation, a transparent quote and realistic timings are always free of charge with us. Just ask!

How long does a production take?

That depends on the scope of your project – and rightly so. A recruiting film for a mid-sized construction company has different requirements than a multi-stage brand campaign for an architecture practice or a building services (MEP) contractor.

As a rule of thumb: projects usually start around four weeks after the order is placed. The average is roughly 2.5 months – from the first concept approval to the finished asset. For projects with several shooting days, documentation of construction phases or a substantial share of 3D animation, the timeframe grows accordingly.

We plan shooting dates together with you to fit the progress on site, coordinate with your site management and take the safety rules on the premises into account, so that the project runs safely, efficiently and without disrupting your day-to-day operations.

How does a production at Mastlicht Media work?

As a one-stop solution we accompany you from the very first idea to the finished format – one partner for everything, no handovers, no briefing chaos.

  1. Consulting and structure Together we clarify goals, audience and message. Are you looking to win new clients, investors or skilled staff? Out of that comes a tailor-made media strategy for your construction business.
  2. Creative concept Storytelling, format, visual style, storyboard and shooting schedule are developed and agreed with you.
  3. Production Shooting on location or in the studio. We coordinate crew, equipment and everything that comes with it.
  4. Post-production Editing, color grading, audio, motion design and, where needed, 3D animations of building services (MEP) processes or architectural visualizations. Two rounds of feedback included: first cut → feedback I → second cut → feedback II → final cut.
  5. Distribution On request we support you in getting your content out on the right channels in the right form.
How much work does it create for me as a client?

As little as possible – and as much as you want it to. As a full-service partner we take care of the entire organization: from coordinating with your site management through obtaining filming permits to finished post-production. You do not have to deal with anything that is not your core business.

What we need from you: your goals and your feedback at the agreed milestones. You do not need any film expertise for that. We translate what you want into what works with your audiences – be they clients, investors or future specialists.

Anyone who would like to shape things more actively – contributing their own project documents, reference photos or existing footage – is warmly invited to do so. Working with us is as individual as your company.

Can I contribute my own material to the production?

Gladly – as long as it fits the concept and meets the quality standards we define together.

Existing site photos, drone footage, project documentation, logos or technical graphics can be integrated where it makes sense. As part of our media recycling approach we look together at which existing assets can be reused for new formats and channels – that saves money and at the same time keeps the way your company presents itself consistent.

We will tell you openly what is suitable and what is better produced from scratch. What counts is always the overall result – and that your construction company is presented the way it really is: professional, dependable and competent.

Managing Director and Director

Cinema has fascinated us since childhood – not just as a medium, but as a total work of art. The interplay of every craft involved, the precision in the detail, the passion behind every frame: those are exactly the values we took as the foundation of Mastlicht Media, and we keep building on them every day. Seeing how this medium, combined with our craft, creates lasting value for our clients is what excites me anew every single day.
