For the BVMW Main-Kinzig Entrepreneur of the Year award, a film was produced about LORENZ ENERGIE as well. LORENZ ENERGIE is a skilled trades company for sustainable building technology based in Gründau. Their range of services spans electrical engineering, photovoltaics and heat pumps through to battery storage and smart home. One team shot the interviews with the interviewees, while the second team simultaneously captured all the B-roll on and around the premises. The result is a highly expressive company portrait with a strong visual language that could be shot very efficiently.

The Challenge

With five candidates nominated for the BVMW Mittelstandspreis, five company portraits had to be produced for the award ceremony — and all of them shot within three days. Losing quality along the way was of course out of the question!

Our Solution

Since we had so little time available, we split into two camera teams. The first team shot the interviews with the interviewees, while the second team simultaneously captured all the B-roll on and around the premises. That let us work extremely efficiently without compromising on quality.

The Result

The result is a high-quality company portrait of a strong mid-sized business, running about five minutes. The film lets the managing director and one of the employees speak for themselves, which creates a genuine sense of authenticity. The B-roll backs up what they say — not only with telling impressions, but with beautiful images too.
