Saarland has been converting itself for decades: former steel and mining land becomes business parks, university campuses and housing. Conversion is demanding design work with contamination, existing structures and long permit routes. In the finished quarter none of that is visible any more.
The second factor is the short distances. Chamber, practices, clients and authorities all know each other, and work comes by recommendation. That is comfortable as long as you stay inside the state. For clients in France, Luxembourg or Rhineland-Palatinate, what counts is what they can see.

Our focus is outstanding audio-visual film, video and photo production for the construction, architecture and building services (MEP) sector. But we think beyond the camera. Together we work out which channels and formats reach your clients, investors and future specialists most effectively – and we bring the right specialists to the table to deliver the project to our quality standard.
Travel and process
We reach Saarbrücken from Hanau in a good two and a half hours. We leave early, are there when work starts and are home in the evening. Accommodation costs only arise if your project genuinely needs more than one shooting day. A single day works without a surcharge.
Because distances are short, we plan several stops in one day: the site in the morning, conversations in the office at midday, the finished building in better afternoon light. If a location lies in Lorraine or Luxembourg, we settle access and permits beforehand. Different rules apply there.

Let’s get goingIn Saarland everyone knows everyone. Why would we need a film at all?
For Saarland you may not. For everything outside it you do: for submissions in Rhineland-Palatinate and Luxembourg, for staff who are not from the region, and for clients who will not find you through a mutual acquaintance.
We work for clients in France and Luxembourg. Does the material work there too?
If it is planned that way from the start, yes. We fix the language versions in the concept: French subtitles or a separate voice version, graphics in both languages. Retrofitting costs more and usually looks retrofitted.
Can you film a former industrial site that is not yet a building site?
Yes, and it is often the strongest part. The state before the first intervention can never be recreated. Showing the site beforehand is what makes your own design work visible at all.
What does a production like this cost?
The large majority of our projects sit in the mid four-figure to low five-figure range. In Saarland the overnight stay usually falls away. We give you the range in the first conversation.
