Few states mix such different tasks: plant engineering for the chemical industry on the Rhine, wineries and tourism architecture on the Mosel and Nahe, plus housing and administrative buildings in Mainz and Ludwigshafen. Many practices serve two or three of these worlds at once.
Then there is the reconstruction in the Ahr valley, which will absorb design capacity for years. Building in existing fabric, flood protection and permit design under time pressure are everyday work there. That is work which builds trust, if you can show it.

Travel and the shooting day
Koblenz, Worms and the Vorderpfalz are day trips. For Trier, the Eifel and the Westerwald we allow a considerably earlier departure and tell you so beforehand. We only need an overnight stay if one day ends late and the next starts early.
We make use of that proximity: two hours at your office say more about the possible images than three phone calls. In industrial plants, access, briefing and escort are settled beforehand. We obtain the operator’s image approval before the camera comes out, not after.

Let’s get goingWe work as specialist designers inside a chemical park. Can a camera even get in?
With lead time, yes. A works pass, safety briefing and a separate approval for filming are mandatory, and the operator defines what may appear in frame. We work with approval lists and film only what has been agreed beforehand.
Our practice has twelve staff. Is a film not oversized for that?
No, the scope follows your size. For small practices the film is often more effective, because people can see who works there. One shooting day, two people to interview, one project: that yields more than most expect.
Can you photograph a winery or a listed building without it looking like a property portal?
That is the difference between documentation and composition. We work with daylight, chosen times of day and few, calm shots. A wide angle from the corner of the room produces exactly the impression you want to avoid.
What does a production cost for a practice in Rhineland-Palatinate?
The large majority of our projects sit in the mid four-figure to low five-figure range. Along the Rhine the overnight stay usually falls away. We give you the range in the first conversation.
